Hakon is from Narvi, a Rava village which is known for its trouble producing males. Ever eager to spot a potential male among their young, the village looked upon his tenderhearted flame and assumed he would grow to be female like most. As such, he was already well embedded in a role caretaking the youngest kits of the village (he loved this warm, nurturing use for his flame), readying him for a long life in Narvi. The day he woke male sparked an immediate debate about what to 'do' with him - the one consensus was that this male would likely prove too soft to walk the path of a Wood Warder.

Ultimately the belief that the mettle of all Viera men must be tested won out. Narvi summoned their only living Warder, Njalkolle Djt-Nong, to serve as Hakon's master. Njalkolle's faith that Hakon's success was inevitable fanned what was a modest flame into a roaring, unrelenting fire. From his master, he learned strategy, resolve, cunning, and how to tap into the roaring flame within with exacting precision. He came to love and understand the wild splendor of the jungle and its beasts. He began to embody what it meant to live in harmony with them, and understand that the duty of protecting the Wood was not as clear cut as his life in the village would have him believe.

Hakon is fresh out of the Golmore jungle. A matter of moons. The Wood Elders filled his head with dire tales about the outside world, and at first he had trouble reconciling that those tales were not matching with his experiences. Now his wonder has strayed from the teachings and motives of the Elders, and full focused on the marvels of the lands outside the jungle..                                                                                   .W A R D O N C E M O R E ?  
An exalted friend of his master told Hakon that his master needed help, and could stand to learn and benefit from Hakon's continued presence in the outside world. While the starry-eyed Warder is still reeling from the notion that he has anything worth teaching, it has been enough to keep him out of the jungle and walking the many paths that his master walks to learn more of Njalkolle's life in the outside world..                                                                                   .S T A R R Y - E Y E D  
Hakon is an eager, bright flame that is being fed by the richest wood. His heart is tender, like the embers which smolder soft but secure at a fire's base. His light is pure, fueled by his love of the natural world and its creatures. His curiosity is hungry, like the flames that lick and stretch from a fire's base, hoping to catch on something new.

C O N S U M E  
As fire nurtures, so can it consume and destroy. Hakon's heart burns boldly with duty, and surges like a fearless brushfire in the face of danger. He was taught by one of the Wood's best how to be decisive and exacting to defeat one's foe and protect that which is sacred..                                                                                   .W A Y S W I T H W O R D S  
His master took him often to the outskirts of the jungle to overhear and learn the languages spoken. To varying degrees Hakon can speak, but not read, both Common and Dalmascan. Because he and his master also communicated through sign, he can understand and sign in the outside world with some translation challenges..                                                                                   .T O R N B E T W E E N  
Hakon's task was to find his master in the outside world and return with him to Golmore. Told to expect terrible treatment, and peoples who lived in ignorant chaos with their environment, he did not expect to fall into fascination with the outside world. He did not expect to respect and revere the life Njalkolle built for himself. He did not expect to want to be a part of that life, too. While he continues to remain in the outside world, beneath his bright nature there is a smoldering guilt for leaving his duty behind.

He's hungry to get to know the world outside the Wood, and he learns and connects with people, places, and things best when it's through tactile firsthand experience. He is looking for trusted guides to show him the wonders of the outside world near and far.05.     What is Love? (Hard)
Hard to learn about and find love when you're alone in the middle of the jungle. Hakon deserves to discover the warmth of his tender flame when shared with another, and experience the depth and wonder of a romantic relationship. With who? That needs to be organic. Hence this hook being hard.
